After two consecutive losses of the Pakistan cricket team in the Champions Trophy 2025, all Pakistani pathetic former cricketers are taking cricket like a heated politics. Name any single player from the former cricketers of Pakistan, I guarantee that you will get to see that each and every player is just talking nonsense about their own players rather than talking about some solution for the betterment of Pakistan’s Cricketing future. Even if they are trying to pretend like they have solutions, they are actually just trying to impose their own control over the PCB through their illogical pieces of advice.
Pakistani Pathetic Former Cricketers
It seems like former Pakistani cricketers are looking to become a part of the Pakistan Cricket Board to earn some money or more fame. Former Cricketers of Pakistan may feel bad by reading this article by Cricket Zon, but this is really true when we talk about Pakistani Cricket and their senior former cricketers. They do not have mutual consent between their retired cricketers themselves, and nor do their capped international players have mutual consent among themselves in the current Pakistani cricket team’s dressing room. This is not any school-level or district-level of cricket where you will keep blaming each other without taking any responsibility by yourself.
It feels really bad to see that the team which had so many brilliant players in their squad just a decade ago now suffering to compete on the international level against big teams or even against a team like Afghanistan. It is really tough to say if any of the former cricketers of Pakistan really want to benefit their own country’s cricket without looking for some benefit for themselves in return.

Sohaib Akhter is one such player who sometimes talks logically on their national TV of Pakistan about their cricket team and the actual issues the Pak cricket is facing. Apart from Sohaib Akhter, you will hardly see any player giving any logical reasoning about their cricket. Even it is true that many former Pakistani cricketers do not like Sohaib Akhter because he speaks the truth on national platforms.
After these two losses of Pakistan in the Champions Trophy, the entire Pakistan is going against Babar Azam. This is really sad to see that Pakistani cricket is dependent upon only one player to participate in a world-class event of cricket at the International level. Not a single team can win any title by depending upon a single player, and this is actually what the Pakistan Cricket Board, former cricketers of Pakistan, and Pakistani cricket fans need to know, accept and start working on it to improve their cricketing future.
If Pakistan won’t be able to keep things in a systematic way to bring match winners from their country to perform at bigger stages then all of them should not have any rights to blame any particular player at the end. The situation of PCB seems much more pathetic than their country’s politics. Seeming like they just want to put each other down and take control of the cricketing system by blaming someone badly.
Though these former cricketers appreciate the Indian cricket team and Indian cricketers, they should remember that they can also make their cricket team like India’s team. But they just appreciate Indian cricket to explain how bad is the condition of the Pakistani team in comparison to India. This is just so pathetic to see that they are not talking to benefit their own cricket, and to be more clear, I must say that these cricketers won’t be able to bring a big change just by fighting with each other on TV channels.

Rather than making such stupid comments, these former cricketers should get back to the field and start teaching the younger generation of cricketers from Pakistan so that, at least in the near future, Pakistan will get to see more match-winning players in the Pakistan Team. But by coaching the younger generation, these former players may not be able to earn the money they are earning for passing such stupid comments on Pakistan’s nation’s digital platforms.
Well, let’s hope that this ongoing trend of blaming each other and blaming one single player for the loss of an entire team will hopefully change. Best wishes for Pakistani Cricket’s future from India, as I am an Indian, and I would love to see them play good cricket whenever they play with us and not perform like any district-level or club-level cricketers.
